Elk Point Lodge is located in southwest Colorado, about 45 minutes NE of Durango. We sit right on the shore of Vallecito Lake where the Pine River flows into the Lake. Most of our cabins are on the water's edge and are nestled into the tall pines with spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Our property adjoins the San Juan National Forest. Our lodge recreation room is a great place to play table games, get together with family and friends, or spend a quiet afternoon reading. Our general store is stocked with convenience groceries, gift items, fishing supplies, licenses, and more. We also have our own marina where you can dock your boat, rent one of our outboards or canoe, or pontoon.
