The Seymour House is a beautiful brick Italianate-style mansion built by William H. Seymour in 1862 and remains one of the finest homes in the area. In the early 1980's a rebirth of tourism occurred in South Haven and the completed riverfront marina area became a hot spot for festivals and arts-and-crafts shows. The lighthouse on Lake Michigan remains the focal point of this great riverfront park.
