Dapple-Gray Bed & Breakfast is
a new full-log lodge on the south shore of the Great Inland Sea in
Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. All four of our guest suites face the
lake with a deck or balcony. We are located on M-26, 12 miles east of
Eagle Harbor and 1 1/2 miles west of Copper Harbor. Our location
on 27 acres of forest-clad slopes along 600 feet of the rocky shore
cliffs and crystal clear waters of Lake Superior is pristine and

The Seymour House is a beautiful brick
Italianate-style mansion built by William H. Seymour in 1862 and
remains one of the finest homes in the area. In the early 1980's a rebirth of
tourism occurred in South Haven and the completed riverfront marina
area became a hot spot for festivals and arts-and-crafts shows. The
lighthouse on Lake Michigan remains the focal point of this great
riverfront park. The area around the Seymour House is a haven for
birds: woodpecks,
herons, cardinals, wrens, swallows, turkeys, hawks, eagles, jays,
